Vanderpump Rules Moving To Las Vegas With New Cast

The last few weeks have been quite hectic if you are a member of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules cast. First, it came out in the press that a scandal involving Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute calling the police on former cast-member Faith Stowers (who is African-American) was being re-visited. Specifically, the incident involved Stassi and Kristen seeing a story involving an African-American woman wanted by the police for theft and Kristen and Stassi then allegedly calling the police to claim Faith was behind the crimes.

Faith revealed this news during an Instagram Live with Floribama Shore star Candace Rice detailing that “There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview.”

Old Podcast episodes of Stassi’s Straight Up With Stassi had also been reexamined due to some of them having content that was deemed racist.

After Faith’s reveal, Bravo ended up deciding to terminate their involvement with Stassi and Kristen, letting both of them go from the show. Bravo also fired Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni due to racist tweets of theirs that had surfaced back when this season began. It is interesting to note that Bravo did not do anything at the time of these tweets being outed, but with the recent horrific murder of George Floyd (and the protests for Black Lives Matter that are still ongoing), Bravo finally decided to take action.

In the aftermath of the firings, it ended up being revealed that Stassi was pregnant with her first baby with fiancé Beau Clark. While some seemed to think it was a publicity stunt in order to try to get her job back, it does indeed appear that Stassi is pregnant as her rep recently confirmed she is due in early January. She also recently confirmed the gender of her baby, letting fans know she is having a baby girl.

There have also been rumors regarding Jax Taylor possibly losing his job on the show, with 90 Day Fiance star Ashley Smith accusing him of being racist in the past, as well as rumors being put out that he was also involved in the police being called on Faith.

With all of these things going on- and the major cast shakeup of two principle cast members being let go (Stassi and Kristen) as well as two newbies (Max and Brett)- many fans have been left wondering if the show will actually go forward. Is there a strong enough cast left to carry on a show?

According to an exclusive source we spoke to, “Bravo is considering what to do with Vanderpump Rules.”

“They have a great working relationship with Lisa Vanderpump and have for some time,” they continued dishing, “so they do want to make something work with her.”

So will Vanderpump Rules return?

Our insider indicated that, while nothing is set in stone, “Bravo is considering moving the show to Las Vegas with an entirely new cast. They would keep Scheana Marie as fans already know her and bring her to Vegas as the one recognizable face from Los Angeles.”

“As fans of Lisa’s know,” our source continued, “she recently opened a new cocktail garden in Las Vegas at Ceasar’s Palace. This would be the perfect opportunity for her to showcase her new spot as well as continue Vanderpump Rules.”

Our insider wrapped with dishing that if they decided to go this route “it would be a fresh start.”
