Let’s face it: no one can get enough of Scandoval.
It’s the heartbreaking betrayal that the world is happy to keep dining on.
Tom Sandoval cheated on his partner Ariana Madix with her best friend, Raquel Leviss, and it threw the “Vanderpump Rules” cast into chaos.
But one cohort of Leviss says he doesn’t think she was aiming for Sandoval – she actually wanted to hook up with Madix.
Her bestie.
It would be a bombshell, if true.
And Leviss’s own words may support this theory.
“Shahs of Sunset” alum Nema Vand briefly dated Leviss after she famously split from James Kennedy.
And Vand has some tea.
Reality Tea writes, “[Vand] appeared on Scheana’s podcast Scheananigans to spill some tea on what his ex knew and when.
Notably, there was a rumor circulating before Scandoval broke that Ariana and her ex-boyfriend were in an open relationship. Nema asked Raquel if she had heard the rumor and would she act on it if it were true.
‘I was like, ‘Oh, would you ever do that like would you ever consider that?’ And she’s like, ‘No no no I would never,’ he said.
‘She’s like, ‘I would hook up with Ariana though, I wouldn’t hook up with Tom,’ ‘ Vand claimed.
Allegedly, Raquel told Vand about a conversation she had with Sandoval in April 2022. The seeds were being sown already. The duo also, ‘were in the hot tub until like 5 a.m.,’ Vand revealed. The VPR star told him that she and Sandoval, ‘watched the sunrise together.’
Vand recalled Raquel telling him that, ‘Tom allegedly was like, ‘You know, we have an open thing, like, we can hook up with whoever we want,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, do they?’”
Vand said he believes Raquel is “smart” and knew what she was doing.
Taken on its own, Leviss’s comment that she would hook up with Madix and not Sandoval sounds just like a juicy rumor.
But remember, we have Raquel’s own words from her coda interview which set fire to the whole Scandoval timeline by revealing that she and Tom hooked up as early as Scheana Shay’s wedding in Mexico.
Leviss told producers, “I mean I even suggested maybe like, ‘What would Ariana think about like having me as an addition?’ And he was like, ‘No no no she would not be into that’.”
She added, “I love Ariana as a person and then also I’m in love with Tom Sandoval, so yeah it didn’t seem that far-fetched of an idea, but it was not something in question.”
She tittered, “God he’s gonna kill me. I just hate lying so much.”
Leviss obviously doesn’t hate lying enough to keep from going behind her best friend’s back – but we digress.
Could Leviss have settled for Sandoval when she really had her sights set on bestie Madix?
It’s as plausible as anything else related to this wild scandal.
But Sandoval and Leviss say they’re in love now, so it must just be water under the bridge.
