As Meghan Markle celebrates her 42nd birthday, rumors suggest that the former Hollywood actress is considering a move into politics.

Nick Bullen, co-founder of True Royalty TV and an award-winning documentarian with extensive experience covering the British royal family, revealed that he has heard from reliable sources that Meghan is reaching out to secure political positions. “I think that is absolutely an ambition for her,” Bullen stated.

The idea of Meghan stepping into the political arena is not entirely new. In 2019, True Royalty TV aired a documentary titled “Meghan for President?” which explored her desire to speak out on global issues even before her acting career.

While members of the British royal family are traditionally expected to be apolitical in public and refrain from expressing political views, Meghan’s American citizenship allows her to pursue political roles. Bullen finds it plausible that she could take on a humanitarian ambassador’s role or even aspire to the White House. However, such a move would likely require Harry to relinquish his royal title.

As Meghan and Harry focus on individual projects to bolster their brands, the speculation surrounding Meghan’s potential foray into politics continues. While Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have not commented on the matter, Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent reported in 2019 that sources from Kensington Palace dismissed the idea of Meghan running for president.
