Stephanie Grisham, the former White House press secretary, expressed concern over a recent social media post by former President Trump, characterizing it as “chilling” and possibly constituting witness intimidation.

On Friday, Trump took to Truth Social, a platform he co-owns, to write, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” Grisham, who served in the Trump administration, spoke out about the post in an interview on CNN, questioning its legality and potential implications for witness intimidation.

Trump was arraigned on four federal charges related to an alleged plan to overturn the 2020 election results and pleaded not guilty.

As a witness who testified to the House Jan. 6 committee last year, Grisham shared her experiences in the administration, including Trump’s pre-January 6 meetings. Since then, she has been an outspoken critic of the former president, accusing him of sexual harassment of employees.

Grisham voiced concern about the impact of such online intimidation, particularly given the death threats she has personally faced. She stressed that anyone who has spoken out against Trump might be feeling uneasy in the wake of the post.

Trump faces an additional federal indictment related to mishandling classified documents, and Grisham has previously claimed to witness him sharing classified documents with guests at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
